revising… but what?

so here i am, after another day of school, i won’t go into details apart from the fact that graphics was ugh as ever and gabbie and i went to bader at lunch and i had a completely carbs meal. almost more ugh than graphics, but it’s all i’m going to get with 95p. yes, roast potatoes then shortbread with custard! yum.
next, choir, and then telling my dad about my ripped trousers and asking if i can buy a skirt.. well i meant can i have money to but i’m guessing i’ll get it. hoping. because i have none. though grandma said she’d give me a bit tomorrow because i’ve been so down on it. i just hate the way that whenever i feel like i’m really doing well and saving up i run out of something and it’s suddenly all gone! i miss the days when everything would be bought for me.
now, i’m sat here with a revision guide and pre-release material for the exam i have first thing tomorrow morning, but i simply can’t revise– i have nothing to! the only things i really need to know are the basics on nuclear waste, half-life etc, (theraputic) cloning, cells, diabetes, and sweetners. the rest i can just do straight from the articles! hmph! easy as diddly-squat!
i have, however, done a little something tonight. learnt 6 little bits of french. well, that was challenging.

much better than school – vraiment mieux que le collège
i went by foot – je suis allé à pied
i started at – j’ai commence à…
i finished at – j’ai fini à…
is it me or is french too easy at the moment? apart from that imperfect tense lark. i still haven’t quite grasped it.
also, i miss adam! boo! get him back online quickly! 
and just before i go, please read the new ‘50 things about me’ page! ignore some of adam’s additions… i am not dutch, i do not drink urine, and i do not hate him, and whatever other rubbish he’s written on there

Impressive French. The only recommendations I’d make are that you’d say, “J’ai fait…” instead of “Je fait…” (easy mistake that I must have made a million times), and since you’re a girl, at the end of “allé,” you’d add an extra e. Oh, and “commence” would have an accent mark on the last e, which I’m positive must have been a typo, but really, it’s incredibly impressive that you’ve learned six new phrases in just a day. Or rather, an evening.
It’s almost eerie that all the way overseas, we’ve just learned the imparfait, too! I’m struggling with it a little…all those new endings and then the stems. And then remembering when to use the imparfait and when to use the passé composé. Super-ugh.
By the way, I love carbs. Roast potatoes, shortbread, and custards sounds delicious, although in the morning, I guess it’s regrettable.
